We discuss both the immediate assignment and your longer-term hiring goals, so candidates understand the opportunity from the beginning.
See how the person approaches the actual work and collaborates with your team. The worker also has an opportunity to assess the role and work environment.
During the assignment, we manage onboarding, payroll, employment taxes, and required workers’ compensation coverage. You direct the work and provide feedback.
Your written terms explain how worked hours count toward direct hiring without an additional conversion fee, and how any earlier conversion fee is calculated.

“My Chief Human Resources Officer Suggested I work with the Source and Recruit Company® to help recruit a new software engineer. This was my first experience working with a recruiter and was very pleased with the process and experience. Their sourcing specialist was outstanding! We’re thrilled with our new hire and I look forward to working with this team again.”

We clarify the duties, qualifications, and what you want to learn during the assignment. We also discuss pay, schedule, and the potential direct-hire opportunity.
We recruit and screen for the agreed requirements. After selection and completion of onboarding, the person joins your team on assignment as a Source and Recruit employee.
Share feedback as the assignment progresses. If you and the worker want to move forward with direct employment, notify us before making an offer so we can confirm the terms and coordinate the transition.
Submit your resume or tell us a little about yourself. If you don’t have a resume, we’ll help you shape your story and highlight your experience.
We begin with a comprehensive review of your resume and career goals, delving into what makes you unique in your industry. This session is where we start drafting the plans for your career growth, offering you targeted advice to refine your job search strategy.
Based on your career goals—including target job titles, location, salary, and work environment preferences (in-person, hybrid, or remote)—we help you automate your job search using software that captures 60–80% of all available job postings online.
Under our standard contract-to-hire terms, you can hire the worker directly after 520 credited hours without an additional conversion fee, unless your Statement of Work sets a different threshold. Only hours actually worked count. If you hire earlier, any agreed conversion fee decreases in proportion to the hours completed. Your proposal also identifies the bill rate and any approved additional costs.
Every role has different expectations. We work with you to define the assignment and confirm the skills, work setting, and requirements we can support before recruiting begins.
No. The arrangement gives your business the option to offer direct employment, and the worker decides whether to accept. We help both sides understand the opportunity and coordinate the process.
Hours actually worked for your business count; paid leave and other unworked hours do not. Under the standard terms, hours accumulate across assignments for the same worker and client unless the Statement of Work says otherwise. At 40 worked hours per week, 520 hours equals 13 weeks or approximately 3 months.
Yes. Any early conversion fee follows the calculation agreed in writing before the assignment. Under the standard formula, completing half of the required hours leaves half of the agreed recruiting fee payable upon conversion.
No automatic reduction applies. If the staffing assignment continues, the agreed bill rate remains in effect unless we agree to change it. The hourly charge continues to cover staffing and administration; no additional conversion fee remains once the agreed threshold is met.
Contact us before making an offer. The standard SOW specifies a 12-month period from the last day worked during which an agreed remaining conversion fee may apply. If the required credited hours were already completed, no conversion fee remains.
