Communicating Through the Coronavirus Pandemic

What’s your coronavirus communication plan?

The COVID-19 pandemic has turned the way we talk to each other on its head. Within the span of a few weeks, companies in every industry have reformulated their communication strategy out of necessity.

A recent piece from the Harvard Business Review is an invaluable resource when it comes to making the most of your COVID-19 communication. If I had to summarize their insight, I would do it like this:

More is more.

Communicate with your customers and shareholders and update them regularly. Communicate with your employees and make them feel safe. Create a centralized communication team responsible for keeping these gears in motion.

This is a moment marked most pointedly by uncertainty. Not knowing for certain what we are in for is a terrible, terrible feeling.

And communication helps.

This is a message I’ve been working to put into practice. So in the spirit of communication, I urge you to reach out if you think there is anything that The Source and Recruit Company can assist you with right now. We are here to help.
