Data on Companies with the Happiest Employees
In a time when the war for talent is being waged harder than ever before, what does it take to make employees want to stick around?
The website Comparably gathered anonymous employee feedback to compile a list of “happiest employees in 2021,” and came back with some quantitative data. The largest company with the happiest employees? Adobe. For small businesses: San Jose-based startup Eargo.
It’s really the qualitative data that matters here, though, if you want to know what makes people happy with their employers. Some of the comments gathered in this survey include “Flexibility with my schedule,” “Improving the quality of people’s lives,” “Everyone respects me here,” and “I love working with passionate people!”
Being inspired by their work is just as important to employees as being competent at their job (and fairly compensated) — if not more so. We’ve seen that sort of data come back again and again over the last few years, especially as Millennials make up a significant portion of the workforce.
