Give Candidates A Sneak Peek At Your Hiring Process
What’s your hiring process like?
One trend I’ve noticed in my work with our last 100 or so clients, is that those who create the best candidate experience make their interview process transparent to incoming candidates before the fact.
For instance, some companies have a website, standard email or other type of checklist that gives detailed information about in-person interviews:
☑️ Where and when to check in
☑️ Who they’ll be meeting with
☑️ Even the types of questions they’ll be asked
The idea is that candidates who know what to expect will be better prepared and more at ease.
It’s also a good idea to communicate your greater hiring process to candidates in advance — describing the process, how long it usually takes, things like that.
When working with a recruiter, it’s also smart to make sure the recruiter is very clear on your typical hiring process so they, in turn, can communicate it to candidates.
