What if we've had bad experiences with recruiters before?

We understand that concern, since many clients come to us after working with agencies that promised results and did not follow through. Our process is built differently. Every search starts with clear metrics: defined timelines, transparent pricing, and regular reporting so you always know where a search stands. We assign a dedicated talent advisor who stays engaged with your team from the first discovery call through the final offer, rather than handing you off to a generic account manager. Clients stay with us because they see consistent quality in the candidates we present, honest updates when a search is taking longer than expected, and a recruiting partner who treats their open roles with the same urgency as their own internal team would. If a previous recruiting experience left you skeptical, that is exactly the gap our transparent, metric driven approach is built to close.

How fast can you help us hire?

Most routine searches are completed in about 4 weeks or less when the role is well defined, compensation is aligned with the market, and client feedback moves quickly through each stage. Our overall average across all searches is closer to 9 weeks from the first conversation to an accepted offer, since many of the roles we support are difficult to fill positions that require proactive sourcing, deep market research, sustained candidate engagement, structured screening, multiple rounds of interviews, and offer negotiation support. We move with genuine urgency on every search we take on, and we also treat speed as only one measure of success rather than the only one. Our real goal is helping you hire efficiently while protecting candidate quality, role fit, and long term retention, since a fast hire that does not stick costs more than a slightly longer search that does.

Do you only work with large companies?

We work with companies of every size, from growing firms making their very first dedicated hire to mid sized businesses scaling a department to established enterprises running searches across multiple locations. Our contract models are built to flex around where a company actually is, rather than assuming every client needs the same level of support. A small team hiring its first specialized role gets the same structured process, market research, and candidate vetting as a national company filling several openings at once. That flexibility extends to pricing and engagement length as well, so you are not locked into a large retainer sized for a company several times your own. Whether you are expanding your team nationwide or making a single critical hire, the goal is the same: give you access to the same recruiting rigor larger organizations rely on, scaled to fit your actual hiring volume and budget.

What if we're not sure exactly what we need?

That is exactly where we come in, and it is one of the most common starting points for new clients. Many companies know they need to hire but have not yet nailed down the specifics of the role, the ideal candidate profile, or realistic market compensation. We start with a discovery conversation to clarify role requirements, define what success actually looks like in the position, and pressure test the job description against current market conditions using third party labor supply intelligence. From there we help determine the right search strategy for your timeline and budget, whether that means a focused executive search, an ongoing fractional recruiting engagement, or supplemental placement support layered onto your existing team. By the time sourcing begins, you have a clear, validated brief rather than a rough idea, which makes every candidate we bring you a stronger fit from the start.

How is this different from traditional recruiting?

Traditional recruiting is often built around contingency or retained search fees, generic job postings, and a pay for placement model that rewards speed over fit. Source and Recruit offers a more flexible, data driven alternative built around your actual hiring needs rather than a fixed fee structure. Our contract and fractional recruiting model gives clients dedicated recruiting support on a variable cost basis, which can often reduce overall hiring costs compared to traditional agency arrangements. We combine experienced human recruiters with AI driven sourcing tools, salary and talent market intelligence, structured screening, validated assessments, and thorough reference checks, then manage candidate communication and scheduling directly so nothing falls through the cracks. The result is a recruiting partnership that operates more like an extension of your internal team than an outside vendor, staying focused, transparent, and built around the hiring strategy your situation actually requires rather than a one size fits all process.
